SLP Job Details - Missouri Healthcare Jobs Location: Lewistown, MO 63452 Setting: Hospital - Speech-Language Pathology Unit Assignment Type: Travel SLP job Start Date: December 29, 2025 End Date: March 30, 2026 Duration: 13-week contract Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday (start time flexible between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM) Hours per Week: 35-40 Estimated Weekly Salary: $1920 - $2060 On-Call: No on-call required Weekends: No weekends unless making up holiday hours Employment Type: W2 healthcare position Speech-Language Pathologist Qualifications Active Missouri State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Minimum 1 year of SLP experience in long-term care (LTC) or rehabilitation setting (new grads with Level II experience considered) Knowledge of ASHA and Missouri state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics Ability to supervise and mentor CFY or Student SLPs SLP Responsibilities - Hospital Clinical Support Screen, evaluate, and provide rehabilitation for patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders Develop and implement individualized care plans using evidence-based practices and standardized assessments Monitor, document, and adjust patient treatments as needed Offer consultation and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and other healthcare providers Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary healthcare team members regarding patient care Prepare comprehensive discharge summaries and maintain accurate electronic documentation Participate in required meetings, trainings, and in-services Obtain necessary durable medical equipment (DME) or supplies as needed Apply now to join our hospital-based healthcare team in Lewistown, Missouri, and make a difference as a Speech-Language Pathologist!
