Radiology - Breast Physician

Job Details: Start Date: ASAP Duration: Ongoing (locum tenens coverage) Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM, on-site only Coverage Type: Scheduled clinical hours only, no call Practice Setting: Outpatient Breast Center Practice Scope: High-volume breast imaging (40 patients per shift) Breast biopsies and breast imaging required Fellowship training in Breast Imaging required Must be Board Certified in Radiology EMR: Epic Facility Details: Trauma Level II facility Patient population: adult only (no pediatrics) Support staff: 1 RN, 15 office staff No resident or APP supervision required Requirements: Active Louisiana medical license or IMLC Qualification- IPL will help with Licensure! Board Certification (Radiology Breast specialty) Breast Imaging Fellowship (required) Certifications: ACLS, BLS Estimated credentialing: 120 days Logistics: Insurance: Provided by IPL Travel: Nearest airport LFT (Lafayette Regional Airport) Lodging: Ochsner preferred hotel list and corporate codes available Additional Information: 1 2 providers needed for ongoing coverage Holiday coverage not required (major holidays excluded)
