Facility in Dixon, IL seeking Lucrative ObGyn locums coverage Rates: $2500/24 hours and $325/hr call back. If covering the clinic - $4000/day with 8 hours gratis, $325/ call-back after 8 hours.$1000 bonus for December 22-27 dates. Opportunity Highlights Urgent Need: We have an urgent need for coverage from December 22 at 7 a.m. to December 27 at 7 a.m. Team-Based Care: You'll be part of a team that includes one other MD, two midwives, and an APN. You will not work solo. Call Coverage: You will provide 24-hour call coverage from 8 a.m. to 8 a.m. All call is "call back," meaning you're only required to come in if a patient needs to be seen or managed. Some days will include clinic hours within the 24-hour shift. Balanced Caseload: The facility has a low volume of 20-30 deliveries per month. They are a Level 2 OB unit with no NICU. You'll be responsible for covering the OB unit and handling ER consultations for any OB/GYN-related cases. EMR System: The facility uses Cerner for all charting. Quick Privileging: The estimated time to secure temporary privileges is 90 days. Responsibilities Provide 24-hour call coverage for the OB unit and consultations in the ER. Respond to patient needs and manage deliveries as required. Handle an average of 0 admissions while on call. Collaborate with midwives and APNs to ensure patient care continuity. Note: Circumcisions are not required, as they are handled by other providers. Provider Requirements Education: MD or DO. Board Status: Board Certified. Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience. Licensure: An active Illinois State License is required to apply. We are not able to consider candidates with an IMLC. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, DEA, and CSR licenses are required.
