Position: Safety Manager Direct Reports: Individual Contributor Reports To: EHS Director Salary Range: $100k to $115k DOE Bonus: 10$ annual bonus Relocation: Yes Job Responsibilities: The Safety Manager will oversee the safety programs at two key locations approximately 84 miles apart with a time split of 75% / 25%. Will require regular presence on the floor, engaging directly with frontline employees through one-on-one conversations to build relationships, gather feedback, and promote a culture of safety from the ground up. While an individual contributor position supported by corporate safety team and backed by modern tools, including a third-party safety training platform that simplifies monthly compliance through a robust catalog of online courses. Ensure compliance with local, state, and OSHA safety regulations. Lead monthly safety meetings and daily toolbox talk program. Support and manage internal safety suggestion program for improvements and analytics. Conduct investigations on near-miss reports, report findings to senior management and safety committees and implement corrective actions. Perform regular hazard identification walkthroughs. Coordinate and lead internal and external safety audits. Conduct monthly facility inspections. Lead annual OSHA compliance training using a third-party LMS platform. Act as the primary point of contact for workplace injuries, including incident reporting, workers' compensation coordination, and root cause analysis with support of corporate safety team. Coordinate and manage 3rd-party training programs including First Aid, CPR, LOTO simulation, fire/tornado drills, and confined space awareness. Deliver new hire safety orientation and ensure documentation is complete. Maintain OSHA 300 logs and ensure all safety documentation is accurate and current. Develop and maintain a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) library. Manage SDS records via a third-party platform. Requirements: Bachelors or Associates degree in Occupational Safety, Safety Engineering, or closely related degree required. Certifications such as GSP, ASP, or CSP are a major plus. 5+ years' experience managing Safety in a manufacturing environment with a proven safety mindset required. Strong working knowledge with OSHA regulations and general industry safety standards. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel, Word). Experience with digital tools such as Salesforce or Formstack a plus. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to manage responsibilities and relationships between two sites.
