Relocation Package is available.About the Role We're seeking a Quality Assurance Manager who thrives in a small-town, close-knit environment and is motivated to lead quality excellence at a high-impact metals and raw materials operation. Jamestown, ND is a very remote area, and this role is ideal for someone who values focus, autonomy, and a strong sense of community. You'll lead our Quality Management System (QMS), ensure compliance with AS9100 standards, and champion continuous improvement across the plant. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence quality culture, develop people, and strengthen customer satisfaction. This position is a working manager role at a smaller site of 9 people. It requires hands-on involvement, such as inspecting parts, supporting final inspections as needed, and visiting customer site to discuss and resolve quality issues. Employee must be US person/Green Card Holder - this is an ITAR Restricted. What You'll Do Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with AS9100 and internal standards. Serve as the "voice of the customer" by addressing quality issues and driving root-cause analysis. Mentor and develop Quality Engineers and Quality Assurance Representatives. Oversee audits, inspection planning, metrics, and performance expectations. Lead corrective actions, reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and manage MRB activities. Drive initiatives to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), implement corrective actions,and manage Material Review Board (MRB). Visit to other sites (as needed) for training and coaching. Support Lean initiatives and operational efficiency improvements. Partner with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to achieve quality objectives.
