Job Summary Direct, lead and supervise the development of a total quality environment with an emphasis on unexcelled customer satisfaction and continual quality improvement. Accomplish quality related objects through the use of quality meetings, planning, training, statistics and internal/external audits. Ensure that processes and products are in compliance with current implemented Quality Management System requirements. Relocation Package is available.About the Role We're seeking a Quality Assurance Manager who thrives in a small-town, close-knit environment and is motivated to lead quality excellence at a high-impact metals and raw materials operation. Jamestown, ND is a very remote area, and this role is ideal for someone who values focus, autonomy, and a strong sense of community. You'll lead our Quality Management System (QMS), ensure compliance with AS9100 standards, and champion continuous improvement across the plant. This is a highly visible role with the opportunity to influence quality culture, develop people, and strengthen customer satisfaction. This position is a working manager role at a smaller site of 9 people. It requires hands-on involvement, such as inspecting parts, supporting final inspections as needed, and visiting customer site to discuss and resolve quality issues. Employee must be US person/Green Card Holder - this is an ITAR Restricted. What You'll Do Lead and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with AS9100 and internal standards. Serve as the "voice of the customer" by addressing quality issues and driving root-cause analysis. Mentor and develop Quality Engineers and Quality Assurance Representatives. Oversee audits, inspection planning, metrics, and performance expectations. Lead corrective actions, reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), and manage MRB activities. Drive initiatives to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ), implement corrective actions,and manage Material Review Board (MRB). Visit to other sites (as needed) for training and coaching. Support Lean initiatives and operational efficiency improvements. Partner with Sales, Purchasing, and Operations to achieve quality objectives. Lead: Quality planning Customer/vendor claim tracking and trend analysis Statistical process control Internal/external AS9100 audits Corrective & Preventative Action (CPAR) system Training in quality, Lean, and safety Note: The responsibilities listed reflect the core functions of this role and are not a complete list of all duties.What You'll Bring Minimum Requirements: Bachelor's degree 3+ years in Quality Assurance or Quality Engineering Experience with AS9100, TQM, ISO/QS9000, and SPC ISO Assessor Certification 1+ year of management/supervisory experience Preferred Qualifications: ASQ Certification AS9100 Lead Assessor Certification 5+ years of Quality Assurance/Control experience 3+ years of leadership or team-building experience Training in strategic planning or team motivation Why Join Us?
