Class A Truck Driver

Class A Truck Driver Trillium Drivers is now seeking experienced Class A Tanker Truck Drivers in Royal Oak, MI for direct-hire placement! Pay rate is $27-$32 per hour DOE, with OT after 40 hours. Schedule is Monday - Friday, with occasional weekends. This is first shift starting at 6AM but must be flexible. Position Overview: -Primary role as a Class A Truck Driver. -Operating a Manual Transmission hauling bulk liquids with a tanker. -Required to lift, carry, push, pull or drag hoses and related equipment of up to 50 lbs. and climb tanks up to 35 feet high. -Perform tank gauging, sampling, maintenance and housekeeping on tanks, piping, valves, pumps, and other terminal equipment. -Most deliveries are within a 250-mile radius but MUST be willing to stay overnight when needed. There will be 2-3 OTR nights a month with company paid per diem or in a sleeper cab. -Drivers must also have a minimum of 2 years bulk tanker experience with hazmat. Miscellaneous: -Must have a Hazmat Endorsement. -Must be able to work in all weather conditions. -Proper and thorough Pre and Post trips are crucial. -Must be self-directed, self-motivated, confident, and decisive. Excellent customer service skills are a must. -Must have knowledge of DOT regulations, Electronic Logging Devices, and Hours of Service rules. -Driving company vehicle safely and responsibly per DOT regulations. -Must be customer service oriented and personable.
