HR Support Agent Airtech Advanced Materials Group is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented HR Support Agent to assist with a wide range of human resources activities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This position serves as a key support role within the HR department, providing administrative and operational assistance across multiple HR functions. The HR Support Agent will act as a versatile team member responsible for supporting recruiting, hiring, onboarding, timekeeping, payroll coordination, employee relations, and employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Support the recruitment process, including posting job openings, scheduling interviews, coordinating with hiring managers, and assisting with candidate communications. Assist with new hire onboarding, including preparation of documentation, orientation scheduling, and ensuring completion of required employment paperwork. Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Provide support for timekeeping processes, including monitoring time records, assisting employees with corrections, and coordinating with payroll. Assist with payroll administration by verifying employee data, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely submission of required information. Support HR leadership with disciplinary documentation and employee relations matters, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and adherence to company procedures. Help coordinate employee engagement and morale initiatives, including events, recognition programs, and internal communications. Provide administrative support for HR programs, training sessions, and meetings. Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and procedures, escalating issues when appropriate. Assist with special projects and other HR-related tasks as needed to support the department and organization. QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS: Associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 24 years of administrative or HR-related experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Familiarity with HR processes such as recruiting, onboarding, payroll, and employee relations preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Working knowledge of HR best practices and employment processes. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook. Experience with HRIS or payroll systems preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem solving. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Work is primarily performed in an office environment within a manufacturing facility. Position may require extended periods of sitting, standing, and computer use. Occasional walking throughout the production floor may be required to support HR activities and employee engagement.
