HUD Certification Specialist

We are seeking a full-time HUD Recertification Specialist to oversee all aspects of housing compliance and manage matters related to LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8 programs at a 465-unit residential apartment community located in Washington, DC (Brookland Manor). This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a strong background in affordable housing compliance. Responsibilities include: Manage housing compliance programs, including LIHTC, HUD, and Section 8. Conduct audits, ensure adherence to HUD functions, and oversee EIV requirements. Perform accurate income calculations and rent determinations. Coordinate with property management team to maintain compliance standards.
