Application Support Engineer

Application Support Engineer role- NYC, NY, PAY rate (60-65/hr on W2) Trade/Trading exp. Required Front Office App Support role. Supporting Global Credit Trading Desk in NYC. Will interact with other trading offices globally. Team of 5, supporting over 100 traders and apps. Candidate will need to support Sunday nights 1-2 hours, once every 45 days (rotation). Need strong UNIX/LINUX skills, Python scripting, SQL, and experience working with traders/trading applications. should be knowledgeable in one business area (examples: Equities, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange/FX etc) credit trading exp a plus AWS, GENEOS, CI/CD plus (should have some understanding) ideal candidate 5-7 years' experience Top Skills: Mid-level around 5 years of experience supporting trading applications. Need Front Office support experience. Experience working with traders Excellent comm skills. Python - scripting, small development tasks. Unix Linux, including shell scripting RDMS Monitoring tools - Geneos nice to have Automation tools used for SRE Job scheduling
