Locum - Physician - Radiology - Interventional Lansing, MI Join a dynamic hospital-based Interventional Radiology team as a Locum Physician in Lansing, MI, and make a meaningful impact on patient care. Overview We are seeking a skilled, Board-Certified Interventional Radiologist (MD) to join our reputable IR team at UMH Sparrow Lansing Main Hospital. As an essential member of this hospital-based practice, you will perform a variety of procedures, including angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, needle biopsy, thrombolysis, and uterine fibroid embolization (UFE). This position offers a flexible, day-shift schedule with every third weekday and weekend on-call commitments, providing a balanced work-life dynamic. The facility supports a team environment with experienced IR support staff, including a manager and two APPs, enabling efficient and comprehensive patient care. Required Skills Board Certification in Radiology Valid Medical License in Michigan or ability to obtain Proven experience executing interventional procedures such as angioplasty, stent placement, embolization, biopsy, thrombolysis, and UFE Strong knowledge of IR protocols and patient management Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work effectively in a hospital setting with adult and geriatric patients Nice to Have Skills Experience in orthopedic, gynecologic, and urologic interventional procedures Prior work in Level I Trauma Centers Familiarity with EMR systems (specific platform not mandated) Experience working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Preferred Education and Experience Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited institution Completion of Radiology Residency and fellowship in Interventional Radiology At least 2 years of post-residency IR experience preferred Other Requirements Willingness to travel, with some providers able to do 3+ weeks of coverage per month Credentialing possible within 90 days; expedited processes available Mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate; lodging provided on campus if needed Must maintain necessary state and federal certifications and licensure Ability to adapt to the facility s procedural and documentation standards Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay rate (to be submitted) Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick leave in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable Support from a dedicated, 24/7 team committed to your success Embark on this rewarding locum opportunity, make a difference in patient lives, and advance your career while enjoying the flexibility and support we provide.
