Maintenance Mechanic

As seen in the Norfolk Daily News MAINTENANCE MECHANIC: Full time Maintenance Mechanic. Assists to install, maintain, repair and/or replace mechanical systems at the Immaculata Monastery. The job functions are related to various basic electrical, heating, air conditioning, carpentry, painting, and/or plumbing skills. Requirements include ability to operate a variety of tools, drive tractor, and drive vehicles with a valid driver’s license. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. without restrictions, bend, stoop, reach above shoulder level, climb ladders, and withstand extreme heat and cold conditions. Occasional exposure to moderate noise levels and hazardous machines and materials. Work well with others and take directions from a Superior. A comprehensive wage and benefits package is offered. No health insurance available, but an extra allowance paid to help with other medical coverage.
