Provide medical management of patients for a busy Rheumatology practice. Serves as primary caregiver in collaboration with the medical team, providing care to patients with rheumatologic conditions in the outpatient setting. Duties: 1. Providing continuity of care to patients assigned by the medical team. 2. Diagnose and treat patients with acute and chronic rheumatologic disorders 3. Ordering and reviewing labs, x-rays and other diagnostic studies 4. Prescription writing 5. Fielding calls from patients. 6. Completion of medical documentation on all patient encounters using electronic medical records. 7. Completion of job release, disability, etc forms for patients. 8.
