Volunteer Driver

We are in need of volunteer drivers to take patients to their doctors, chemo or radiation appointments using your own vehicle. Appointments can be local (West Islip or Bay Shore) or further away (Lake Success or Stony Brook). Appointments are typically Monday through Friday during business hours. Drivers must be 21 years old with a clean driving record and must be reliable and compassionate. This is a very rewarding way to volunteer by working one on one with someone in treatment and make a difference. Volunteers would need to stop into our office so we can meet you and get a copy of your drivers license. You would let us know when you are typically available and where you are comfortable driving to.
