Commercial Estimator

Our client is seeking a Commercial Estimator to support a growing commercial division within a specialty contracting organization based in the Indianapolis area. This is an office-based role focused on preparing accurate estimates, supporting business growth, and partnering with leadership to pursue and deliver profitable commercial projects. Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for commercial construction projects ranging from small retail to multi-story institutional work Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to develop accurate scopes and takeoffs Solicit, analyze, and qualify vendor and subcontractor pricing Collaborate with leadership to finalize bids and pricing strategies Support project handoff to operations once work is awarded Track awarded work and support internal performance and profitability reviews Requirements Prior experience estimating commercial construction projects; experience with a specialty contractor or subcontractor preferred Strong understanding of construction documents and scope development Detail-oriented with solid organizational and analytical skills Comfortable working in an office-based, deadline-driven environment College degree is a plus Why Join Our Client This is an opportunity to join a well-established specialty contractor that continues to grow following private equity investment.
