Job Summary The team lead is responsible for supporting the management team by demonstrating a selling behavior. The role involves supporting the store manager with daily operations, acting of flor lead, and promoting a positive work environment and a proactive work ethic. Essential Functions: Assist the store manager with daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and training of employees and other tasks as needed. Support business operations, including sales, service, and product knowledge. Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues. Manage inventory and ensure product availability. Oversee merchandising and visual display. Monitor and maintain store cleanliness and safety. Participate in community outreach and promotional activities. Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales goals. Train and mentor staff to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with other team members to achieve departmental and company objectives. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a retail or customer service environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. Physical ability to perform various tasks, including lifting and carrying items, standing for long periods, and operating equipment. Proficiency in computer applications and customer relationship management software. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively. Commitment to maintaining a positive and productive work environment. Environmental Demands: Constant standing, walking, and bending. Occasional lifting and carrying of heavy items. Ability to work in various weather conditions. Exposure to retail environment, including potential hazards associated with handling merchandise and equipment.
