Estimator

Overview: Responsible for preparing accurate project estimates by gathering information and analyzing important metrics. Provide knowledge of cost and benefits that support profitable business decisions through the gathering of first-hand information from plans, specifications and drawings. Determine key variables for cost and other estimates based on industry, project, and Novia Corporation business knowledge. Support various business growth initiatives through efficient and effective communication and professional interaction. Essential Duties: Estimating & Customer Service Support Provide accurate and timely estimates to one or more customers per project Gather, organize, and analyze project documents to complete estimates - encompassing all of Novia Corporation's products and services. Collaborate with all departments within Novia to provide the best possible solution, pricing, and scope of work Maintain company bid list(s) Provide customers and other industry professionals with knowledge pertaining to Novia product Other duties as assigned Ideal Candidate: 2+ years of estimating experience in vibration isolation, HVAC, and/or commercial construction. Thorough, reliable, analytical and passionate about their profession. Detail oriented professional with excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi-task within a strong team environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Friendly and well spoken. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, email, and data entry. Preferred software skills: Bluebeam and the ability to learn proprietary estimating software Must be able to work independently, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
