Implement therapeutic interventions that hone in on aspects such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing in personalized one-on-one sessions. Engage collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, families, and caregivers to formulate effective care approaches. Provide informative resources to patients and families to enhance therapeutic progress beyond clinical visits. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care coordination throughout each patient's journey. Keep precise and up-to-date documentation that adheres to all regulatory requirements. Enhance professional knowledge by participating in continuing education and collaborative peer discussions. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Fulfillment of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for candidates not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA's Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification mandatory within the first month of employment.
