Come and be a part of the excitement and spend every day in sunny paradise with beautiful views! The JOB: The Second Shift Engineer - HOURS WILL BE 2:00PM - 11PM. This person isresponsible for maintaining the general condition of the property with regards to all aspects of basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical and painting work. Complete maintenance request work orders from all departments on a timely basis. Participate in the preventive maintenance program for all-building equipment and rooms. Complete other special projects assigned periodically by the Chief Engineer. Experience with record keeping. 2. Strong office & computer skills required (Excel, word & outlook) 3. Provide legible communication and directions. 4. Compute basic mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply and divide numbers). Ability to: • perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy. • prioritize, organize and follow up. • be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgement. • follow directions thoroughly. • understand guest's service needs. • work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. • work with minimal supervision. • maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.
