General Description Mangan, Inc. is a nationally recognized electrical power and control systems engineering firm and is seeking a qualified Electrical Power Engineer in Sugarland, TX, to aid Mangan's growing electrical power offerings. Key Experience & Skills6-10 years' experience in the development of comprehensive electrical construction and specification packages suitable to be stamped by a Professional Engineer and submitted for authority plan check, comprised of at least the following: Load studies Single line diagrams Plot plan & area/building detail diagrams Lighting Grounding Conduit and cable schedules Construction specifications Equipment and installation details Additional experience in the following drawings preferred: Area classification drawings Motor/breaker schematics and wiring diagrams Lightning Protection Knowledgeable of the requirements detailed in National Electrical Code (NEC), IEEE 3000 Series (formerly known as color books), and API 500 (preferred) Adept at the use of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel Expertise with power system modeling tools - ETAP or SKMpreferred Expertise in arc flash analysis, short circuit analysis, and protective coordination Experience in load flow, motor starting, and harmonics preferred.
