Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Speech Language Pathologist, delivering specialized therapy programs aimed at preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, and social communication disorders. Essential Responsibilities: Uphold privacy and security standards for Protected Health Information (PHI) while fostering effective communication with patients, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies. Provide care within your licensed scope, demonstrating expertise aligned with departmental competencies and policies. Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive care plans tailored to patients ranging from newborns to geriatrics. Educate patients and their families on care processes and provide clinical oversight to Speech Language Pathology Assistants. General Responsibilities: Perform additional duties as assigned to support the team and patient care. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position does not include supervisory or management duties. Education and Experience: Hold education credentials that meet licensure requirements at the time of issuance. Licenses and Certifications: Maintain current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist through the appropriate state board. Possess a valid BLS/CPR certification from an approved provider within 30 days of hire or by the end of orientation. If driving is required, hold a valid driver's license and auto insurance meeting regional requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a similar clinical environment is advantageous. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Strong understanding of speech therapy principles, effective communication skills, and basic computer proficiency. Physical Requirements: Light work involving occasional exertion up to 25 lbs and frequent exertion up to 10 lbs. Expect to stand or walk 11-25% of the workday.
