Supervisor / Part-Time

Part-Time Supervisor Blackstone Consulting, Inc. (BCI) is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Supervisor to oversee dining facility operations at Yorktown, VA. The Supervisor will provide leadership to dining staff, ensure compliance with food service and sanitation standards, and maintain smooth day-to-day operations. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment, and a strong focus on customer service. Key Responsibilities Supervise and direct the daily activities of dining facility attendants and kitchen staff. Ensure compliance with company policies, military dining facility standards, and sanitation regulations. Train, mentor, and coach employees to improve performance and productivity. Monitor staffing schedules, attendance, and adherence to shift requirements. Maintain quality control of food service, presentation, and portioning. Resolve staff or operational issues in a timely and professional manner. Assist with inventory management, ordering, and supply control. Collaborate with management to meet headcount and service requirements. Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and efficiency in the dining facility. Qualifications Previous supervisory experience in food service, dining facilities, or related field required. Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a high-volume setting. Knowledge of sanitation, food safety, and DFAC (Dining Facility) operations preferred. Must be able to pass background checks and meet site security requirements. Benefits Competitive hourly pay at $18.50. Steady part-time schedule (Thursday Monday).
