Description Conduct thorough evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing established assessments and direct observation. Create customized treatment plans that cater to both immediate objectives and ongoing communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Deliver focused one-on-one speech therapy interventions that target communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing challenges. Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and caregivers, to devise unified treatment strategies. Provide educational resources and support for patients and families to encourage improvement outside of therapy sessions. Execute occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and sessions to ensure holistic care throughout the journey toward recovery. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is necessary if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of starting. Skills Expertise in evidence-based approaches to treatment across all age groups, demonstrating a solid comprehension of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional skills in interpersonal communication with patients, families, and multidisciplinary team members. Ability to tailor therapy techniques to reflect varied cultural and linguistic backgrounds. Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle clinical challenges effectively. Proficient in electronic medical records and documentation protocols. Benefits Competitive salary that reflects your experience. Flexible scheduling options that promote a healthy work-life balance. Options to specialize in areas such as pediatrics, adult neuro rehabilitation, or geriatrics. Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday compensation. Options for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. Support for continuing education and professional growth. A collaborative environment centered on quality care and lifelong learning. A Career Where Each Day is Rewarding In this pivotal position, you will not only provide speech therapy but engage in a larger mission - transforming lives, fostering understanding, and creating joyous interactions through the wondrous acts of communication. Joining our team means being a part of a family that values each clinician and prioritizes collaboration over competition. Each patient carries a unique narrative, and we entrust you with the profound responsibility of helping to craft that story into one of hope and resilience.
