Provide educational resources and support for patients and families to encourage improvement outside of therapy sessions. Execute occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and sessions to ensure holistic care throughout the journey toward recovery. Keep precise and up-to-date documentation in accordance with industry standards and regulations. Engage in ongoing education and teamwork to stay abreast of advancements in speech-language pathology. Education Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) is necessary if ASHA certification is pending. Certifications Active state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of starting.
