Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 03/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work as Whole House Resource Pool RN floating between ICU, PCU, and MS units • 3x12 hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM (4x12s available by request) • Must be comfortable working all three specialties with ratios up to 1:5 • Float every 4 hours as staffing needs are re-evaluated (may float 2-3 times per shift) • Weekend requirement: Either every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in 6-week block • Must work one holiday per 13-week contract • EPIC charting experience required • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS • 2 years of ICU experience from large L1/L2 facility required • Patient ratios: ICU 2:1, PCU 5:1, MS 6:1 (may flex up to 7:1) • Must be skilled in IV therapy, phlebotomy, arterial line management, central line care, blood product administration • Experience with BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patients, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management required • Capable of managing continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, cardiac/vasoactive drips • 24-hour orientation provided • Work with adult and geriatric patient populations • Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Facility: This 703-bed acute care teaching hospital serves as a flagship medical facility and is the region's only Level I Trauma Center for both adult and pediatric patients.
