Join a dynamic healthcare team in the Pacific Northwest as an Advanced Telemetry Technician. This full-time day shift role (0600-1830) involves continuous cardiac monitoring and surveillance of telemetry patients, ensuring timely recognition and reporting of rhythm changes and potentially life-threatening arrhythmias to the nursing staff according to established protocols. Job Responsibilities Continuously monitor patient cardiac rhythms and physiological parameters with precision. Observe, document, and accurately interpret cardiac rhythms. Identify rhythm abnormalities promptly and communicate concerns to Registered Nurses. Operate and troubleshoot monitoring equipment effectively. Respond swiftly to monitor alarms and emergency situations while maintaining composure. Utilize office equipment such as fax machines, scanners, copiers, telephones, and computers for documentation and communication. Ensure accurate documentation of patient monitoring initiation and discontinuation. Maintain confidentiality and proper management of patient records. Participate in special projects and other duties as assigned. Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Telemetry Technician or ECG interpretation course preferred. One to two years of experience in a patient care setting preferred. Telemetry Technician experience is a plus. Licenses and Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required. Skills and Abilities Proficiency in ECG rhythm interpretation with the ability to pass certification exams. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to ongoing learning and competency development.
