FTE: .01 Per Diem, Shift: Variable, Schedule: Variable Position Summary The Cardiac Ultrasound Technologist is a crucial role at MultiCare, performing diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound procedures. Ranging from ultrasound exams, therapeutic or interventional Ultrasound procedures, this position requires independent judgment, initiative and ingenuity. Responsibilities You will produce optimum scanning results, using ultrasound as a diagnostic aid and schedule ultrasound appointments You will perform various duties to include: writing reports, filing, charging and stocking rooms with appropriate products You will place patient welfare above all other duties while the patient remains in the ultrasound department Requirements Graduate or graduation eligible within 6 months a formal ultrasound technology training program Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers or Cardiovasular Credentialing International If registry pending, must complete appropriate registration within 12 months from date of employment Previous experience as an Ultrasonographer preferred Current BLS required Why Choose Pulse? As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $42.27 - $67.65 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
