Position: Geospatial Analyst I Job Type: Full Time Department: Tribal Historic Preservation Office Location: HOLLYWOOD Posted: 01/28/2026 Job Description The incumbent in this position is responsible for assisting the staff assigned to the Seminole Tribe of Florida (STOF) Tribal Historic Preservation Office's (THPO) Archaeometry Section with all aspects related to archaeological techniques and methods including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geophysical techniques, remote sensing, THPO database management, spatial information and archaeological sciences. The individual assists the Chief Data Analyst in the successful integration and management of spatial field data within the existing THPO geodatabases; managing any field and survey equipment related to THPO and the Archaeometry section. The individual provides support to other THPO staff with the integration of GIS and geophysical techniques and the geographic components within cultural resource management, historic preservation and archaeological sciences. The incumbent in this position provides technical support on projects, utilizing GIS and geospatial analysis skills and appropriate mapping techniques to meet the needs of the THPO.
