Compensation Analyst Location: Hybrid Portland, OR Contract Duration: 46 months (Project Based) Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday Pay Rate: $35$45 per hour Overview: A client of LHH Recruitment is seeking a Compensation Analyst to support compensation operations, benchmarking, and compensation cycle activities during a peak workload period. This role is ideal for someone with strong analytical capabilities, experience working with HR data, and the ability to operate with accuracy, confidentiality, and consistency. The position follows a hybrid schedule onsite in Portland, OR. Key Responsibilities: Analyze job data, compensation structures, and market trends to provide recommendations aligned with internal equity and market competitiveness Support compensation surveys, benchmarking, and data submissions Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, and Finance to ensure consistent interpretation of compensation guidelines Assist with salary structure maintenance, job evaluations, and compensation modeling Prepare, audit, and validate compensation reports and data sets Support the annual or mid-cycle compensation review process, including data hygiene, reporting, and troubleshooting Document compensation processes and support process improvements Provide compensation-related guidance to HR partners as needed Required Qualifications: 3+ years of direct experience in compensation analysis and/or HR analytics Strong proficiency with Excel or similar analytical tools (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, modeling) Ability to analyze and interpret data to form clear, defensible recommendations Strong understanding of compensation principles, including market pricing, job leveling, and pay structures Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Preferred Qualifications: Experience with HRIS systems such as Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar Prior experience supporting compensation cycles or large-scale HR programs Ideal Candidate: A detail-oriented, analytical professional who thrives in a collaborative environment, can adapt quickly to changing priorities, and is comfortable supporting both strategic compensation initiatives and day-to-day data needs.
