Job Description

Vendor Management Specialist As a Vendor Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of supplier payments. You will be responsible for processing and resolving invoice discrepancies within the Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) portal. This position requires direct communication with suppliers to ensure invoices contain correct purchase order and billing information. You will also collaborate with Accounts Payable and internal stakeholders to review, reconcile, and close purchase orders efficiently. Responsibilities: Process and resolve invoice discrepancies within the Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) portal to ensure timely and accurate supplier payments. Communicate directly with suppliers to resolve invoicing discrepancies and ensure invoices contain accurate purchase order and billing information. Partner with Accounts Payable and internal stakeholders to review, reconcile, and close purchase orders in a timely manner. Facilitate vendor communications and meetings to identify invoicing issues, implement corrective actions, and maintain effective vendor relationships. Research and verify purchase order (PO) information and coordinate with suppliers to reissue invoices with accurate PO references for proper processing. Investigate invoice and PO discrepancies and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement appropriate resolutions, including adding line items, creating new purchase orders, or coordinating alternative payment solutions with the Business Controller. Maintain accurate documentation and records related to invoice resolution and vendor communications. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management. Essential Skills: Experience with ERP systems, SAP preferred Strong skills in accounts payable and invoice processing Proficiency in invoicing and vendor management Excellent problem-solving skills Proficient data entry skills Additional Skills & Qualifications: High School Diploma required Experience working in an ERP system, SAP preferred Work Environment: This role is fully onsite in New Berlin, WI, where you will have your own desk area. You will be joining a busy team in a great company culture. Job Type & Location: This is a Contract position based out of New Berlin, WI. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
