QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High school diploma or GED EPA certified State certificate of registration Special Knowledge/Skills: Ability to maintain valid Texas driver's license Ability to communicate in English Ability to read extensive wiring diagrams Ability to lift heavy equipment and parts Knowledge of sequence of operations of refrigeration systems and controls Must pass pre-employment and periodic drug and alcohol screenings as required by federal law WORKING CONDITIONS: Mental Demands: Maintain emotional control under stress Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Frequent standing, kneeling/squatting, bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, and twisting; work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Work outside and inside, on slippery or uneven walking surfaces; frequent exposure to extreme hot and cold temperatures, dust, noise, vibration; exposure to chemical and electrical hazards; work around machinery with moving parts; may work alone; regularly work irregular hours; occasional prolonged hours; frequent district wide travel.
