Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Modula Inc. seeks a Director of Service in Franklin, Ohio to direct and coordinate all service streams, including but not limited to installation, customer service, service bookings, software install and service, training, and parts. Complete national service operational requirements by overseeing the coordination of service scheduling and assignment of training and service responsibilities, following up on work results. Maintain national service staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Maintain national service staff job results by coaching and counseling service staff via planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Grow the business of the Modula Dealers in North America to grow the business that is driven with/by them. Determine annual sales plans by implementing marketing strategies and analyzing trends and results. Establish sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; project expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products. Implement national service sales programs by developing installation and service sales action plans including: Resolving customer and dealer vertical lift module (VLM) and product concerns and issues and keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors as it relates to service quality, parts, installation, and training. Establish and adjust service selling prices by monitoring costs, competition, and supply and demand. RequirementsMaster's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 10 years of experience working for a multinational company. 10 years of experience working with SAP, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Word, and Excel. 10 years of experience in customer service, installation, and training in connection with automated machinery and industrial equipment. 5 years of experience coaching and structuring a department toward effective action and communication plan and establishing clear key performance indicators (KPIs). 5 years of experience managing cost controls related to complex manufacturing equipment installation activities. 5 years working abroad for a multinational company interfacing with international leadership. 5 years of experience interacting with global teammates and leadership. 4 years of experience managing a departmental budget. 4 years of experience managing directly or indirectly (through subordinates) service personnel, including technicians, Installation Site Managers, and installers. Travel (domestic and international) up to 50% of the time required.
