Ultrasound TechnologistJob Type: Permanent, Full-Time Location: Grand Junction, CO Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging Sub-Specialty: Ultrasound Technologist (General, AB/OB, Small Parts) Position Summary A healthcare facility in Grand Junction, Colorado is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform a full range of ultrasound procedures and related administrative tasks supporting women's health services. This role emphasizes high-quality imaging, patient safety, and efficient clinical workflow. Work Schedule Monday - Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM No nights or weekends Key Responsibilities Ensure ultrasound equipment is operational prior to patient procedures Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations per established protocols Clean and restock exam rooms after each patient encounter Sanitize all equipment after use, including scanners, tables, consoles, workstations, and accessories Communicate exam findings to referring providers as directed Track and manage STAT results, follow-up calls, and patients awaiting results Accurately transfer images, patient data, and exam documentation for after-hours interpretation Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and quality standards Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required Minimum of 2 years of related ultrasound experience preferred Certifications & Licensure ARDMS (or equivalent registry) in General, OB, or Vascular Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification Compensation Hourly Rate: $38.00 - $43.70 Estimated Annual Salary: $79,040 - $90,896 (based on 40.5 hours/week) Additional compensation opportunities may include discretionary bonuses, relocation assistance, merit increases, market adjustments, and recognition awards based on individual and organizational performance.
