This opportunity offers consistent monthly coverage needs, strong clinical support, and an Epic EMR environment. Coverage Details Coverage Need: 2 providers to support coverage at least once per month Dates of Coverage: March 13, 14, and 15, 2026 Call Schedule: Two weekends per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Call Ratio: 1:4 (current) Practice Setting: Hospital call, 90% Labor & Delivery Facility & Practice Details Hospital Size: 205 beds L&D / Postpartum / Triage: 34 beds Number of Physicians in Practice: 4 APP Coverage: 1 APP per 12-hour shift Support Staff: L&D nurses and midwives Onsite Lab & Ultrasound: Yes EMR: Epic Patient & Case Mix Low-Risk Pregnancy: 60% High-Risk Pregnancy: 40% GYN Volume: 60% Average GYN Surgeries per Day: 5 C-Section Rate: Low Average Nursery Admissions per Day: 4 Nursery Level: Level II Required Obstetrics Procedures Low-risk and high-risk pregnancy management FHR interpretation (NST, CST, FSE) OB ultrasound performance and interpretation Level I/screening ultrasounds (viability) Labor & Delivery Required Procedures Routine vaginal delivery Low forceps delivery C-section decision-making and performance Management of complicated deliveries (breech, multiples, abruptions) VBACs Repair of 3rd and 4th degree lacerations Gynecology Required Procedures Open and laparoscopic diagnostic/minor procedures Tubal ligation, LOA s, chromal tubation Operative/major procedures Ectopic pregnancy Oophorectomy Cystectomy Extensive LOA s
