APIP Program Coordinator This position is a dynamic role combining a mix of administrative tasks, programming development, and direct services. Direct services include individual trauma-informed counseling, trauma-informed group counseling, advocacy services, referrals and follow-up home management, and financial literacy counseling. The Program Coordinator will support in developing program structures and practice. This role is expected to help the program reach statistical benchmarks of 60 participants served in groups, and 40 participants for case management services. Major duties and responsibilities include facilitating 1-3 weekly therapeutic groups of 5-10 participants, providing case management support to 10-15 participants at a time supporting housing stability, access to public benefits, employment readiness (including resume development and job preparation), and broader skill-building related to employment. The Program Coordinator will also support with managing all aspects of evaluation, reporting, and compliance with participants. Including data tracking tools, the department's nonprofit database platform, Impact Dashboard, and input of agency wide Key Performance Indicators. Additionally, they will provide individual counseling to 2-5 program participants as it relates to issues of trauma based on clinical assessment, administratively supervise case manager, engage in community outreach and recruitment, help develop training seminars with Director, function independently and ensure appropriate action is taken in crisis situations per agency procedures, regularly assess the safety and well-being of participants, assist all participants in the process of referral and placement in community-based resources, maintain participant data in a timely fashion, ensure that participants receive best practices and holistic support, participate in group supervision, staff meetings and trainings, and perform other duties as assigned by the Director. Specific education/certifications/licenses include a Bachelor's degree required. Pursuing a Master's degree in Social Work or Mental Health Counseling is a plus. Required skills and experience include bilingual English/Spanish is preferable, three (3) years of experience working with diverse populations is preferred, experience or training combined with experience in interfacing with the criminal justice system; accessing the vocational and educational service systems; and identifying the aptitudes of participants, demonstrated success and thorough familiarity with engaging participant's experience, knowledge and sensitivity to domestic violence and diversity issues, demonstrated ability in delivering client services including: communication and listening skills; understanding of human interaction and personality development; ability to write and record case documentation; and proven skills in group counseling, computer-literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, and ability to be flexible of schedule as needed 2 evenings per week are required. Excellent written and verbal skills are required. Specific physical requirements include the ability to read printed and handwritten materials, read information on computer screen, use computer keyboard and mouse, sit for extended periods of time, enter information in digital forms and spreadsheets, and occasionally lift and or move up to 10 pounds.
