Job Responsibilities Assess patients spanning pediatric, adult, and geriatric groups through validated tests and observational assessments. Create tailored treatment plans that tackle both immediate objectives and enduring communication, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver individualized speech therapy sessions concentrating on communication, fluency, language, and swallowing difficulties. Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and family members to ensure holistic care. Educate patients and their families to facilitate progress outside of therapy sessions. Occasionally conduct inpatient evaluations and interventions to guarantee a continuous care pathway. Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies. Remain current with advancements in the field via continued education and interaction with peers. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA. Certifications Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is favorable. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of starting.
