11am-7:30pm UPS Shuttles This role involves coordinating and managing the dispatch of customer and stock orders. It requires interpreting warehouse documents to determine the items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. You will play a crucial part in the organization and relocation of merchandise, ensuring efficient preparation of products for distribution. Responsibilities Generate manifest to dispatch and confirm customer and stock orders. Interpret warehouse documents to determine items to be moved or distributed. Open cartons, sort merchandise, and relocate merchandise to designated areas. Organize and place merchandise on racks, shelves, totes, or bins according to sequence. Prepare products for distribution within facilities. Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on palettes, shelves, or conveyors. Receive, store, and distribute materials, tools, equipment, and products under supervision. Arrange stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers. Create and enter records for the manifest on warehouse computer system. Essential Skills Fluent in English: read, write, speak. 0 - 6 months of warehouse experience. Skills in warehouse operations, material handling, picking, packing, and shipping. Additional Skills & Qualifications No prior certification required. Work Environment Work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with narrow aisles where forklifts and hand carts navigate safely. The environment is non-climate controlled, so appropriate footwear such as sneakers, boots, or steel-toe shoes is required. Note that cellphones or electronics are not permitted in the warehouse. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Flower Mound, TX. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.
