Collections Supervisor Established in 1975, Financial Pacific Leasing, Inc. (a subsidiary of Columbia Bank), is a direct provider of small-ticket commercial equipment leases. FinPac originates business through partnering with vendors, third party originators and lessors nationwide. For over 50 years, these partners have relied on Financial Pacific to provide them with innovative financing solutions for their customers. About the Role: Responsible for the supervision and training of collections staff. Monitors departmental delinquency and call volume goals to insure proper account penetration. Trains, mentors and motivates staff to meet and exceed company goals and standards. Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team of collectors with multiple levels of collection experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with staff, customers, and other departments. Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Skill in resolving conflicts and finding solutions to complex collection issues. Ensuring accuracy in documentation and compliance with policies. Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and maintain efficient operations. Familiarity with collection systems (e.g., ARTIVA, Isaac, ShoreTel) and other relevant software. Understanding of relevant laws and regulations (e.g., FDCPA, FCRA) to ensure compliance. Providing excellent service to customers while maintaining firm collection practices. Ability to train and develop staff to enhance their skills and knowledge. Setting goals, monitoring performance, and providing feedback to improve results. Understanding financial principles related to collections and debt recovery. Building positive relationships with team members and other departments. Ability to adjust strategies and processes in response to changing circumstances. Demonstrates compliance with all company regulations for assigned job function and applies to designated job responsibilities knowledge may be gained through coursework and on-the-job training. Keeps up to date on regulation changes. Follows all Bank policies and procedures, compliance regulations, and completes all required annual or job-specific training. Maintain a working knowledge of the company's written policies and procedures regarding Bank Secrecy Act, Regulation CC, Regulation E, Bank Security and other regulations as applicable to this job description. May be asked to coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as subject matter expert. Actively learns, demonstrates, and fosters the corporate culture in all actions and words. Takes personal initiative and is a positive example for others to emulate. About You: High School graduate or equivalent, required Bachelor's degree in business management, finance or equivalent work experience preferred 2+ years FinPac collections experience and compliance knowledge required 1+ year collections experience within diverse equipment environment preferred 1+ year previous lead and/or supervisory experience preferred Ability to learn and adapt to new technology Proven ability to set and obtain goals. Outstanding behavioral coaching and development skills. Excellent interpersonal and motivation skills. Superior verbal and written communications skills. Strong time management and prioritization skills. Established cognitive and analytical skills. Displayed sense of ownership in relation to attitude and actions, assignments, and event outcomes. Detail oriented. Occasional travel may be required The pay range for this role is $23.00 - $30.00. The pay rate for the selected candidate is dependent upon a variety of non-discriminatory factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, education, and geographic location. The role may be eligible for performance-based incentive compensation, and those details will be provided during the recruitment process.
