Position Type: Student Support Services/School Nurse Date Posted: 2/9/2026 Location: LIGHT Program Date Available: Immediately Closing Date: Until Filled District: Huntley School District 158 TYPE OF WORK: Registered Nurse or Certified School Nurse LOCATION OF WORK: LIGHT Program STARTING DATE: Immediately WORK HOURS: 10 Months / 3 Days Weekly / Part-Time RANGE OF PAY: $30.45 - $31.70 / Hour for HESPA Registered Nurse HEA Salary Schedule Prorated on days worked for HEA Certified School Nurse BENEFITS: None CLASSIFICATION: HESPA or HEA APPLICATION DEADLINE: Until Filled SUMMARY: To coordinate a comprehensive school health program including delivery of services to students and staff members in order to enhance health and wellness in the school community. Duties are to be performed in accordance with standards of professional school nurse practice, district/state board of education policies and procedures and Illinois States law regarding nursing practice. QUALIFICATIONS: Illinois Professional Educators License with School Nurse endorsement. Current CPR Resuscitation program completion, Illinois Certification as a Vision and Hearing Screening technician. Computer literacy and competency in use of existing technology. Prior professional nursing experience, preferably pediatric, adolescent, community or mental health nursing, and health program management preferred. Application Process: Apply online.
