Customer Service Representative The Customer Service Representative partners closely with our Sales, Scheduling, Credit, and Shipping teams to deliver a seamless buying experience from start to finish. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers. Entering and managing orders, answering inquiries, and ensuring every interaction reflects our customer-first commitment. Responsibilities Answer incoming customer calls and emails promptly and professionally Enter and manage customer orders from placement through full receipt Provide accurate product, pricing, and delivery information to customers Troubleshoot and resolve order issues, complaints, and inquiries Direct unresolved issues to the appropriate internal department Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate customer records Collaborate with Sales, Scheduling, Credit, and Shipping teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment Prepare and distribute customer activity reports as needed Minimum Qualifications Strong verbal and written communication skills, including professional phone etiquette Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) Team-oriented with a customer-first attitude Preferred 2+ years of experience in customer service Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP Experience handling complex customer situations and finding effective resolutions Ability to communicate across multiple platforms: phone, email, chat, and fax Who is M-D?
