Job Description Speech Language Pathologist- SLP/ CFY Our client is looking for a Speech Language Pathologist SLP or a CFY for their SNF client in Lakeland, FL Benefits & Pay Of Speech Language Pathologist / CFY$44- $52 per hour, depending on experience Healthcare Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Retirement Plan (401K) Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays) Training and development opportunities Mentorship and team-building programs Responsibilities Of Speech Language Pathologist /CFYResponsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with communication and swallowing disorders. Work closely with patients of all ages in various settings, including hospitals and pediatric clinics. Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing abilities Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills, including speech articulation, language comprehension and expression, voice quality, fluency, and pragmatics Administer standardized tests and assessments to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care for patients Educate patients and their families on strategies for improving communication and swallowing abilities Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed records Requirements Of Speech Language Pathologist/CFYMinimum of a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a FL CFY or Speech Language Pathologist Experience in acute care settings is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, case management, and patient care practices Familiarity with geriatric speech therapy techniques and interventions Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology related to speech, language, and swallowing disorders Proficient in conducting patient assessments and developing individualized treatment plans Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families Ability to work independently as well as collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills - Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively Please send your resume and qualifications to Marci Whatley marci@ or call 561-350-6749 to join our exceptional team
