Senior Civil Construction Estimator

Senior Civil Construction Estimator Trueline is seeking a Senior Civil Construction Estimator to join their team in NJ. This is a high-impact role for an experienced leader who can estimate, manage, and deliver heavy civil projects with a focus on milling, paving, and sitework for public and private sectors across New Jersey and New York. What You'll Do as the Senior Civil Construction Estimator: Lead and participate in project estimating, bid reviews, and pre-bid meetings Perform detailed take-offs and manage subcontractor negotiations Track quantities, process billing, and oversee project financials using AIA documentation Serve as the go-to for both field and office coordination on public and commercial jobs Ensure proper close-out of projects with all required paperwork and compliance Work directly with clients, subs, and internal teams to deliver high-quality work on schedule Senior Civil Construction Estimator Requirements: 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction Proven expertise in milling, paving, utility, and drainage work Strong estimating background with blueprint/spec reading proficiency Experience managing or supporting complex infrastructure projects Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and construction documentation (AIA forms) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently Nice-to-Haves as the Senior Civil Construction Estimator: Direct experience in construction project management as well as estimating Familiarity with NJDOT, Port Authority, DPMC, SDA, or other public agency work We Offer: Competitive base salary between $120,000 and $180,000 Year-end performance bonuses Full health benefits and HSA program 401(k) with 4% company match Paid time off and in-person team culture Opportunity to help shape the future of a certified NJ MBE/SBE contractor with deep regional roots Trueline and its clients are unabashed equal-opportunity employers committed to a diverse workforce.
