Details Hospital-based Med/Surg unit with a stroke specialty focus (Unit 2S) Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM 13-week contract Requirements Active FL or Compact RN license required (must be active — pending licenses not accepted) Current BLS and NIHSS certifications required (no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date) Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required Stroke unit experience required AHCA compliance required for all CHS Florida travelers Valid U.S. Driver's License required for consideration U.S. Social Security Number required No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months Additional Information NIHSS and stroke experience must be clearly documented in your profile Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years are not eligible RTO requests must be less than one week in duration American Traveler Job ID P-680600.
