Quality Control Inspector

Quality Control Inspector The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and documenting product quality throughout the production process. This role ensures all products meet client and internal quality standards before they are approved for packaging and shipment. Key responsibilities include: Inspect raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods for defects or non-conformance Perform visual, manual, and measurement-based quality checks Document inspection findings accurately and maintain QC records Communicate quality issues to production leads, supervisors, or management Follow quality standards, SOPs, and safety procedures at all times Assist in identifying root causes of defects and recommend corrective actions Ensure accurate labeling, documentation, and traceability of product batches Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with GMP/safety standards Skills and qualifications: Prior experience in Quality Control, Inspection, or Manufacturing preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to spot defects or inconsistencies Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow step-by-step instructions and report findings clearly Basic math and measurement ability (use of rulers, scales, calipers is a plus) Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment Location: Pingree Grove, Illinois Pay Rate: $19.50/hour Employment Type: Temporary W2
