About the Job Perm - Ultrasound Technologist - Vascular (Days)Location: Claremont, NH Salary Range: $38.31/hour - $50.02/hour Schedule:Shift Type: Days Shift Time: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (7:00 AM - 5:30 PM) Weekend Requirement: None On-Call Requirement: None Position Overview: The primary responsibility of the Ultrasound/Vascular Technologist is to perform diagnostic ultrasound and vascular procedures in accordance with established standards and protocols. This role ensures patient safety, accurate imaging, and high-quality care while minimizing the risk of medical or healthcare errors. The technologist selects and adjusts equipment appropriately, performs procedures based on exam specifications, and documents patient information accurately within the EMR system Key Responsibilities:Select appropriate equipment for the ultrasound setup according to exam specifications Choose the correct transducer and adjust equipment controls based on body part, depth of field, and test requirements Explain procedures clearly, considering the patient's age and level of understanding Assess patient pain that may interfere with imaging and contact the physician when intervention is needed Perform all aspects of patient care in a manner that promotes safety and reduces errors Follow established imaging standards and clinical protocols Practice proper and safe use of all ultrasound equipment Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner Adjust and maintain imaging equipment as required Dress Code:Personal scrubs (any color permitted) Benefits: Employees enjoy a comprehensive, low-cost benefits package including: Free medical and dental plan options Vision insurance 403(b) retirement Health Savings Account with employer contribution Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance (employer paid) Robust Earned Time Off (ETO) accrual with optional annual cash-out On-site wellness initiatives, including reimbursements Educational reimbursement Requirements:Education:Bachelor of Science degree - Highly Preferred Experience:Minimum two (2) years of Ultrasound/Vascular experience - Required Licensure & Certifications:American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) - Currently Registered Required certifications: RDMS (AB - Abdomen) and RVT (Vascular) Current Basic Cardiopulmonary Life Support (BCLS) Certification - Required Certification Requirements:ARDMS BCLS RVT
