Position Type: Part-time Our Benefits Include: Guaranteed base pay of $11.79/hr plus tips (paid bi-weekly) Free meal for each shift worked and team member discount 100% free tuition to Point University (eligibility requirements apply) 401k (matched) Use of company vehicle for all Chick-fil-A deliveries Flexible scheduling (and closed on Sundays) Scholarship opportunities Delivery Guidelines: Delivery hours will be from 9:00am - 9:00pm Chick-fil-A company vehicles used for deliveries exclusively All deliveries average of 10-15 minutes from the restaurant Adherence to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times When not on a delivery, drivers must support the restaurant team Passengers are not allowed on Chick-fil-A deliveries Delivery Driver Responsibilities: Deliver Chick-fil-A orders in a timely and friendly manner Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle Honor and encourage others to follow the vision and values of the restaurant Be team-oriented, adaptable, dependable, with a strong work ethic Work on their feet for several hours at a time Communicate effectively with guests and team members Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Requirements: Must be at least 18 years old Must be eligible to work in the United States Must complete a driving background check to verify a clean driving record for the past 2 years (upon onboarding) Must complete our Driver Security & Safety Program Must have a smartphone to download delivery driver app Consistency and reliability Cheerful and positive attitude Loves serving and helping others Customer service oriented Strong interpersonal skills Detail-oriented Able to multi-task Works well independently and in a team environment Be willing and able to work a flexible schedule Have the ability to lift and carry 40 lbs on a regular basis Have the ability to stand for long periods of time Most Chick-fil-A Restaurants are operated by independent franchised business owners who make all their own employment decisions and are responsible for their own content and policies.
