About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic Vice President who will also act as the General Manager for our strategic data warehousing business within the Data Modernization portfolio. This pivotal role requires you to lead engineering, product management, and technical support, ensuring our development teams in the US and India excel. You will be responsible for shaping product vision, executing roadmaps, and maximizing customer satisfaction. The perfect candidate will possess extensive experience in software development and product management. You should have a track record of successfully leading globally distributed teams to deliver cutting-edge solutions in the data warehousing arena. You will cultivate the business strategy and guarantee it aligns with our broader Data Modernization goals. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the business strategy and performance for the data warehousing product line, including responsibility for P&L. Stimulate growth through innovative thinking, operational excellence, and a strong focus on customer-oriented product development. Align closely with C-level stakeholders and the President of Data Modernization. Articulate and communicate the product vision and roadmap to ensure the delivery of top-notch solutions. Advocate for customer requirements and market insights, ensuring product choices are data-driven and centered on customer experience. Lead product lifecycle management, packaging, and market entry strategies. Mentor and guide high-performing engineering teams across both US and India offices. Foster modern development practices, maintain high quality standards, and implement process improvements. Collaborate on key architectural decisions and drive technology modernization initiatives. Ensure the technical support teams deliver an outstanding customer experience with prompt issue resolution. Introduce processes and tools to bolster support efficiency and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other departments to align business objectives. Represent the business both internally and externally, championing our vision and strategy. Qualifications: 15+ years in software engineering and product management, with a minimum of 10 years in senior leadership. Demonstrable success in managing a technology business and driving growth. Experience leading diverse teams across engineering, product, and support, particularly in US and India. Deep understanding of data warehousing technologies and industry trends. Track record of successfully defining and launching innovative products. Strong technical understanding paired with business insight and strategic foresight. Expertise in Agile development methodologies and modern engineering practices. Exceptional communication skills to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels. Adept at thriving in a fast-paced, complex environment while handling sensitive information confidentially.
