This position partners closely with production leadership and cross-functional teams to safeguard material accuracy, maintain inventory integrity, and support seamless production flow. Communicates daily with plant leadership and cross-functional partners regarding material status, updates, and issues. Requests, organizes, and maintains all fabric and leather specifications and documentation. Conducts annual full inventory of fabrics and leathers and performs cycle counts throughout the year to ensure inventory accuracy. Pulls and transports daily fabric requirements to support cutting and production schedules. Inspects incoming and outgoing fabrics and leathers to ensure quality and accuracy. Communicates material discrepancies or quality concerns to vendors and appropriate internal stakeholders. Handles small parcel packages for the upholstery plant. Assists with unloading of poly truck deliveries as needed. Supports housekeeping initiatives in the cutting area, including trash removal as required. Ensures product information accuracy within systems and documentation. Maintains organized, accurate, and production-ready material inventory. All other duties as assigned. How Success is Measured Enters all received materials into the system within 24 hours of receipt. Inspects a minimum of 10% of incoming fabric rolls daily. Maintains inventory accuracy in accordance with company standards.
