This Part-Time Pediatric Emergency Nurse position allows you to provide vital and specialized care while being part of a nurturing environment that supports your professional growth. Key Responsibilities: Provide family-centered care to pediatric patients. Assess and prioritize patient needs swiftly and efficiently. Demonstrate outstanding performance under pressure. Work closely with pediatric ER physicians, paramedics, and other specialists. Communicate treatment plans and procedures clearly to families, while offering them emotional support. Keep essential competencies in line with hospital standards. Collaborate with the acute care team to ensure smooth transitions for admitted patients. Experience Level: At least 1 year of pediatric emergency experience is preferred. Position Requirements: Within six months of hire, you must complete the following required courses: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI).
