Qualifications include a Master's Degree in Speech Pathology, NYS licensure, and clinical certification in Speech Pathology or its equivalent. Completion of clinical fellowship year is required. Must successfully pass pre-employment health clearance. Duties include administering evaluations and diagnosing speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing disorders. Will establish and provide treatment programs for individuals with deficits in speech, language, cognition, voice, and/or swallowing disorders. Responsible for scheduling patients for evaluations and treatments based on their needs. Will provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding disorders of speech, language, cognition, voice, and/or swallowing. Participate in program development for the speech therapy discipline and related departments. Prepare reports and communicate with referral sources and treatment agencies.
