Night Shift Outside Grease Technician (CDL A/B)

Job Type Full-time Description Position Summary Join our team as an Outside Grease Technician, where you'll play a crucial role in the maintenance of grease traps in commercial kitchens and supermarkets. You'll be responsible for ensuring that these systems function properly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to work independently while interacting with customers. Communicate effectively with customers and the Wind River Environmental team. Inspect grease trap buildup and identify potential hazards. Prepare for each service job efficiently, ensuring your truck and tools are ready. Drive a truck to job sites, adhering to all traffic regulations. Remove grease buildup from commercial kitchen grease trap systems, both indoors and outdoors. Timely completion and submission of service paperwork to management. Respond to trouble/emergency calls promptly. Follow Wind River Environmental service protocols diligently. Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays as required. Participate in on-call rotations as needed. Comply with all FMCSA and DOT regulations. Commit to practicing safe work methods to prevent accidents and injuries. Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Work Environment Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, noise, and non-hazardous fumes. Work independently with regular interaction with customers. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to read and interpret company policies, safety rules, and operational instructions. Effective communication skills with customers, co-workers, and management. Capable of working independently and managing pressure to meet deadlines. Basic computer literacy, including email and internet usage. Capability to perform basic math functions. Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Minimum of 1 year of professional commercial driving experience. Ability to pass DOT drug screening, medical certification, physical exam, and road exams. Operate in a drug-free workplace. Meet physical demands evaluation standards. High School Diploma or GED is required. Base pay range for this role is $23.00-24.00 per hour. Final compensation is determined by location, education, experience, and skills.
