Your responsibilities include performing and documenting patient assessments, monitoring breath sounds, airway patency, and cuff pressure, and supporting organizational improvement by teaching and managing resources for patient care. You may also participate in infant transport and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.A typical day involves assessing patients, delivering respiratory treatments, and responding to emergencies as needed.You will work with a diverse patient population and may rotate through different shifts, including nights and weekends.To qualify, you should be a Registered Respiratory Therapist with the appropriate state licensure and relevant clinical experience. Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills are essential.
